Website refresh for KB Wedding Videography
I first met Kien at a wedding I was helping a friend at. When he first got in touch about replacing his website, I confess I did wonder why. Since his old website wasn’t actually that bad. I did have a suspicion the reason my be that whilst visually it was attractive, it did project a very classic look/editorial look. A style I feel is a little dated nowadays.
When I spoke to Kien, he confirmed my suspicions were right and what Kien wanted was a refresh and something more modern. A website that would appeal with a more relaxed, fun vibe than the old very editorial/staged look.
The Result
Using Kadence blocks on top of WordPress then hosting on my premium web servers, we have managed to not only design a website that is much more tailored to his ideal clients, we’ve also managed to greatly improve the performance. From a frankly glacierly 21.5s First Contentful Paint to a zippy 1.1s. Google Pagespeed Insights reports a far better experience for users visiting Kien’s new website.
I hope you will agree with me that the refreshed website is far more appealing to the modern laid back couple whom Kien is targetting.
